At the start of the Quest, during launch night I spoke about what Wagga Wagga means to me. One of the most important things was and still is that Wagga is an ever helpful network of people who form a community like no other.
Throughout the year this has been more and more amplified and my opinion of Wagga Wagga continues to grow. Our four awesome beneficiaries demonstrated this when I had the opportunity to visit each and everyone one, I was blown away by all the work they are constantly doing for our local community. I am honoured to have been able to play even a small part in supporting their causes. This year has been so amazing and has granted me so many new opportunities in the city that I am so blessed to call home.

What we have achieved this year could not have happened without the incredible community that surrounds us all, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank a number of important people who have supported me over this year, my fellow entrants; Hayley, Montanna, Tegan, Margie and Britt. Thank you all for your work this year, you have made the Quest one of the greatest years of my life and I can contribute a large majority to each and everyone of you. But I am most thankful for the fact that I have come out of this year with 5 new friends, this is an experience that we will forever share and I am so happy I got to share it all with you.

I did not join this Quest, with the aspirations to “take out the crown” or with becoming a titleholder in my sights – I joined this Quest because I wanted to grow as a person, a women, and raise money for charities that need our help, our communities help. I believe I, WE achieved that, and that is what makes me the happiest – the best outcome possible – and with being able to now represent my beautiful community for the next 12 months, is just the icing on the cake.

I sincerely hope that I make the community proud over the next 12 months and I am so honoured and grateful to be the recipient of this crown that I will continuously wear with pride. I am so humbled that you all have placed your faith and trust in me for this extremely important position.

To my fellow entrants, WOW. What a huge few months we have had together – We are all winners here, we have grown as individuals and I am thankful that I have had such a fabulous, successful, powerful group of women to collaborate with so thank you – What an amazing team we have made.
